On December 16th, our regularly scheduled monthly class will resume. Please register early for this ICC-instructed class, as we expect a large turnout. This will be an all-day in-person event. Doors will open by 8 am. Lunch will be served at noon. The business meeting will begin at 12:45 pm after lunch. Please invite your fellow Zoning, Property Maintenance, Permit Techs, and other Code Officials to this important Legal Aspects and Strategies Training Class.

Course Objectives: This seminar provides guidelines for effective code administration and enforcement of the legal aspects of the code for the code official. The following topics will be covered during the seminar: legal concepts, property law concepts, identifying responsible parties, administration of the building code, preparing a case for court, right of entry, liability and testifying effectively.
Payment of $75 for non-members must be received no later than Friday, Dec. 11th @ 12 noon. There is also a special holiday guest offer of five guests for the price of four guests. Please contact Amy for more information.
